Code of Conduct (General):
1. First and most important is helping each other.
2. Members will be respectful to each other, and other alliance members.
3. Any Cheating, exploiting, hacks or ninja'ing will result in an immediate ban from the guild.
4. Members will not accept slander of any kind.
5. Profession items are traded freely to anyone who needs them.
6. Selling items/mats to guildmates is frowned upon. Unless it is of exceptional value it should be given freely. (Refer to Rule #1)
7. Crafted items (including enchanting) will be given freely if mats are provided (and quite frequently even if mats aren't provided).
8. Enjoy the game but not at the cost of other people's enjoyment.
Addons:
- Certain Addons will be used during end game raids. The addon(s) will be required to do Guild events.
- Ora2 - http://www.wowace.com/files/oRA2/ - Based on Ace libraries for memory efficiency, this is the preferred choice.
- CTRaidAssist - http://www.ctmod.net - Can be used instead of oRA2.
- sRaidFrames - http://www.wowace.com/files/sRaidFrames/ - Raid Frames for use with Ora2.
- Omen - http://www.woace.com/files/Omen - A threat meter to help track aggro in raids.
- Ventrilo - http://www.ventrilo.com - This is mandatory.
You don't have to have a Mic, but it is very important for you to be on Vent to hear intsructions during any raid run.
If you do not have vent, you will not be participating in any Guild Runs.
Loot Rules: (Non EPGP runs)
- BoE(Bind on Equip) (usually green) items shall be rolled on immediately. If a member of the group/raid needs it then they can call after rolling is over ONLY if its an upgrade.
- BoP(Bind on Pickup) Items will be called by need. Classes who cannot use an item should not call on greed.
Blues that no one needs will be greed rolled if there is no enchanter in the group.
Typically everyone passes on the loot popup so everyone has sufficient time to make their choices. Once everyone has agreed who will be rolling on the item a /roll is done to determine the winner.
- Blue/Purple/Epic BoE's that are not needed by the classes that find them in their current party are expected to be sent to the guild bank.
(This would include Valor, Light Forge, ect. ect.)
Loot Rules: (EPGP runs)
- A system called EPGP will be used for loot distribution.
- To be eligible for items, the member must have a certain minimum EP. This minimum increases as we enter new instances/down new bosses.
- Items go to the person with the highest ratio of EP divided by GP. If they pass, it goes to the next highest and so on.
- Officers have final say on who is or isn't eligible for an item.
- Raid loot may be offered to non-Adventurers at Officer discretion.
Initiates do not have the right to debate loot distribution whatsoever. Do not expect to obtain epic loot for 30 days.
- Please read the FAQ for more details of the loot system.
Code of Conduct: (EPGP Raids)
- Raid invites will go out at 5:30 server; pulls begin at 6:00 server. Spots will be filled based on raid requirements.
- Vent chatter has to be instance/combat relevant. Some people don't mind the chatter, but some people do, and we have to be respectful of that.
If we keep the channel clear it makes it easier for important messages to get through.
- No one should be asking for heals.
Healers are working as fast as they can and asking for a heal insinuates they're not doing their job.
Also, unless you're a tank or a healer (or a mage during an AOE pull), do not expect to get heals.
Everyone needs to back off and bandage/pot as much as possible to save healer mana.
- Ask for buffs in Raid chat or through whispers. It makes it much easier on our buffers when they're getting multiple requests. Ask politely.
- No chat in general channel (the /1 channel). Focus on the game, and not on what people in other instances are saying.
Gameplay:
- Activity is a MUST. If you are inactive without proper notice then you will be removed from the guild. A three week "inactivity" limit is set for all members.
- If you're going to be absent more than three weeks you must notify the guild, either through private messaging, or forums.
Guild Bank:
The guild bank is a toon where any extra profession mats, BOE's, recipes/patterns and other miscellaneous items are sent to.
To request an item or check if an item is in the bank, simply send an in-game mail to the guild bank.
There is no cost to retrieve something from the bank, all items are given out freely.
Rankings:
Guild Master
Officer
Adventurer
Member
Initiate
Barbarian
Tree of Woe
Tree of Woe. Any violation of the rules will result in a demotion to the Tree of Woe rank. Arguing, Chatter, Not Listening. Etc.
This rank has guild chat disabled. After three days they will be returned to their previous rank. A second infraction will result in removal from the guild.
Barbarian. This rank is reserved for friends and family of actively raiding guild members, or when a particular class is currently full.
Barbarians are allowed to raid but are not guaranteed spots and will be asked to leave if a non-Barbarian wishes to join, at any time.
Barbarians are eligible for loot after all other ranks have passed.
Initiate rank is for members just joining the guild. Promotion to Member rank will be done after 4-6 weeks of activity and approval by the officers.
The more active/helpful you are, the sooner you will be promoted.
Members. Members are the people who have passed the initiate status, but are not 'full-time' active raiders, or are still working on a few requirements to be full time Adventurers.
Members and above will have access to the guild bank.
Adventurer The bulk of the guild will be Adventurer rank. They will have access to the guild bank as well as be able to use EP on drops during raids.
